Default LG OLED C9 Native Dolby Atmos Support

Hey OLEDers, just got my 65 C9 last week. Everything they say is true, all of it.

I am curious about something though, since the TV can play the movies directly I tried to play some of my blu-ray backup rips. First impressions it seems that the TV has better picture quality so I might use it for my digital files instead.

My receiver is old and only support ARC, not eARC which means it can't accept Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD MA from the TV. That's fine, the TV sends out their core version instead i.e. Dolby Digital and DTS. So I now I'm planning to upgrade the receiver down the road.

The issue is that some of the Dolby Atmos tracks are not recognized by the TV, it just says "no supported audio". I compared the track media info in the computer and except for the bitrates they're exactly identical to the ones that work.

This is quite important because if I can't fix this, there's no reason for me to upgrade the receiver and don't play from the TV instead.

Appreciate your response. Cheers.
