Because something that plays Blu-rays is a Blu-ray player and something that plays DVDs is a DVD player. VHS player just fits in with the rest of the players.

Logically that would make sense, but that’s not what it’s called and kids need to be educated. Their parents are doing them a disservice by not educating them on past technology.

I had to take yet another phone call from a mate’s mother earlier that her son had just died, from cancer, and he was only in his mid thirties.

Please, for your own sakes, if there is something that you want to do, or you have an ambition that you want to fulfil, then go ahead and bloody well do it.

Once you’re dead, that’s it. There is no ****ing heaven, only the hell that your loved ones are left in.

Go on that holiday you’ve always dreamed of. Have a picnic on that hill with amazing views like you’ve always wanted to. Tell that certain someone that you love them and can’t live without them. Build some bridges.

You could be dead tomorrow. Grab life by the horns and ride it ffs. Forget about the mundane shit and go out and enjoy life!

I did the same with my collection recently. Got rid of a lot of blind buys or series/movies that I don't intend to rewatch. I'm trying to get strict with myself when it comes to owning things that I won't rewatch.

The movie was fun, but both good and bad. I used to love Jim Carey, but can't stand him anymore.

We just had two newsletters from management saying to not go to work if we’re sick.
It seems like just a cold, not a flu. So far.
I’ll go to the building that our daily meeting is at, but wait outside and then see what my supervisor says.

Went to the movies yesterday (the busiest day at the movies) and two people in my screening of The Invisible Man (one being the guy who had to sit in the row behind me) would cough every 10 minutes or so.
