And if it's a question of public consciousness, like the Child's Play films which are ever present nowadays, I say to that... HUH? When was the last time Universal even leveraged the Jaws property for anything? The last sequel is from 1987. Oh sure, there's been repeated rumours over the years about remaking the original film but still...

Go figure Universal.
Yeah it's really strange that they refuse to license out the Jaws sequels, of all things. I can completely understand the original, but when has Universal given a sh*t about any of the sequels? We got a few extras on the Jaws 2 DVD like 20 years ago and they haven't done anything for the sequels since. Hell, even the blu-rays that came out in 2016 (10 years into the format!!!) still used dated scans from that era.

Completely baffling as to why they wouldn't license the Jaws sequels. Universal clearly doesn't care about them, so why not license them out to a boutique label that WILL do a good job? Makes no sense.

Amazon have leaked them:

2 Paramount titles and 2 Warner titles, confirming a new deal with the latter. Very nice.

I hope Orca has reversible art (this). I'm not a fan of that cover.

Hoping Orca gets a fresh scan. I have the Aussie BD and it's not pretty.

Th13teen Ghosts was OK. Glad it's getting a standalone disc - time to get rid of my double feature.

Scream Factory just doesn't seem to have it together. Just when you think they've settled into a routine then this happens. These announcements should have been made last week, no reason to wait if Amazon already knew what was coming.

Given that Shout seem to be going hard after Warner's 2000s titles (perhaps in part because WB are seemingly more willing to sub-licence these), I'm very much expecting Feardotcom and Eight Legged Freaks to be part of this second deal. Might be that Scream also picked up Femme Fatale and possibly The Jacket.

Sometimes the way Scream Factory does things is strange, but these are excellent (pre?) announcements! I'm in for Tales From the Darkside and Thirteen Ghosts at least. But still, where is War of the Worlds? Too bad; time to order this and some other Imprint titles. Time to import!

Agreed great announcements just dumb that Scream didn't announce these with fanfare themselves. I'll be getting Tales from the Darkside and Orca for sure, probably Thirteen Ghosts as well. Not really interested in Hills Run Red.

I wonder if this is everything btw? 4 plus the delayed title is a little on the thin side for Shout. Plus, there's a distinct lack of Hammer.

I'm in for all four of those leaked titles. I have the Australian Blu-ray of Orca, but I'm good for a double-dip if they bring other things to the table as they did with Silver Bullet.

When Amazon put Shout's May titles up there were a few announced titles missing, like Evil of Frankenstein. They appeared about a week later. So there could be more.

I too prefer that theatrical art but somehow I doubt it would even fit in the dimensions of a Blu-ray case. Especially not with it's overly verbose tagline.

-----

I'm crossing my fingers and toes that we get the UNCUT version of The Hills Run Red. While the original DVD release is still pretty grisly, apparently it was still a cut version.

-----

I'm definitely down for Orca, Tales and Th13teen Ghosts. Oh and Hills, of course...but only if it's uncut/unrated.

I'd omit everything about Dino De Laurentiis and then everything below the main image, should fit then I think.
