Not only was Breaking Bad an original creation, but Game of Thrones was a bastardization of G.R.R. Martin’s novels, the show show strayed way too far off canon. Martin’s book were basically a tale of Europe with a little of the Middle East etc, while the tv show was more of a tale of Hollywood / San Francisco
