I discussed this in the dedicated thread for the older 4K UHD Blu-ray of The Last Jedi, but I realized last night that my new LG UM6910PUC, an entry-level 4K television that I bought at the spur of the moment for $339 to make my social distancing life more bearable, does not support Dolby Vision.

Thankfully, my existing 4K UHD Blu-ray (the Best Buy steelbook from a couple of years ago) of The Last Jedi still looks fantastic, even when limited to HDR10.

I take this to mean that I'm getting a similar transfer of The Last Jedi to the folks who own it by way of the Skywalker Saga disc that does not have the Dolby Vision treatment.

How are y'all liking the Skywalker Saga edition of this movie?

I bought the individual 4K UHD combo packs of all of these new Star Wars releases, and I have watched the Original Trilogy, the Prequel Trilogy, and two of the Sequel Trilogy movies so far this week.

In my opinion, all of the 4K UHD discs look miles better than the 2011 standard Blu-rays. Even The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones show notable improvements.

The Making of Star Wars
Various trailers

I've just added a 4K/BD (2020) column to the Collections tab noting which items from that section made it to the newest releases.
Spreadsheet says 3 deleted scenes are missing. Which ones?

TROS did not ring up as part of the promotion. So I asked, and got a price adjustment.

Maybe I'll go back for the OT and/or RotS later in the week. But I think this might be enough for now.

I'm aware. I posted for that it might help someone else on here. The self-checkout supervisors are very helpful.

Default Took the Plunge...

Took advantage of Target's B2G1 Free deal and got all the individual releases minus The Last Jedi which I had and Rise of Skywalker which I bought last week. Let the marathon begin.....

I'm still thinking about it.

Don't like that the discs are stacked and fear some of mine will be scratched, then you're screwed for a couple of weeks (who knows if longer?) since Target isn't allowing returns right now.

They will be scratched too. Whether its bad enough to bother you? So far mine all play despite some circular scratches. ANH and ESB are perfect. So I got that going for me.

Looking at some of the Prequel extras, anyone seeing some bad interlacing-type lines through the stuff ported over from the DVDs?

The mind is very effective at suppressing the memory of extreme trauma, such as those nips!

That’s what I’m doing, then I’m putting the 2011 bluray underneath the new bluray then putting the bonus bluray on the left side by itself.

Thanks, happy to stand corrected. That'll be one OT for my OCD--and a possible side order of regret--Target shipper!

They're made for purists. The Disney releases are not, which is why the picture is messed up. Casual consumers seldom watch movies other than the most popular ones and don't want film to look like film.

What is the "exclusive bonus content" on the Target TROS?
