There was always going to be that first film filmed in orbit. There was always going to be a 96% chance Cruise would be involved. The guy is incredibly dedicated to bring audiences the best experience.
However I am finding it hard to see what filming in actual space would bring to the table. The complications involved means you cant film elaborate action scenes and would it really be any more realistic than what we have in modern sci fi now? I could wholly believe Sandra Bullock was floating around inside a real space station. Aside from the novelty factor of this I cant really see a need, But I am willing to find out. |
