Can the Ignore List feature be improved?

Right now, it looks like this:



If anything, that only brings extra attention to my eyes of the person and posts I'm trying to ignore - like it's taunting to me to click "View post" almost.

Also, it isn't a two-way system, so he/she can still see anything I'm posting. Can this be fixed as well?

Can it be configured in such a way that his/her and my posts don't show up at all when scrolling through a thread, like they don't exist at all?

Edit: His/her responses still show up in the "Most recent forum activity" bar too, which is another thing I'd like to avoid.
