My coworker just sold his numbers matching 64 1/2 Mustang Convertable with the 289 V8 and manual transmission. It was running but needed some work. It was hard for me to pass on it.

My uncle is restoring a 67 Fastback with the original 289. The car was going to be my project car but I declined. The engine was bored out once when my dad drove it and then they had it rebuilt recently.

Plus I didn't have any place to work on that car.

Would have loved it though. I'm currently looking for an old Civic RS to restore. Either that or a 510.

Thanks.

me too! If i had more time and were handier.. i would want to restore a 64 - 68 stang!

A long time friend of mine owns a '68 stang. It needs a little "exterior cosmetic" work, but the engine/transmission are all original and running fine! Cant wait for him to finish his mustang project.

You mean the stang or the E92? i dont have the stang, its a project of a friend. i'm not handy enough to take on any large restoration projects..

if for E92, unfortunately, i didnt change my exhaust system or tips, well, i meant, not YET.. lol... i am not too sure if I want to invest another $2000 on the exhaust/tailpipe upgrade, as i am pretty satisfied with the stock ones.

Mods are mostly on the coilover/suspension/sway bar (coming soon), and subtle exterior mods here and there

Too many people are doing the same thing on the 350's. Visors, turn signal mirrors and camber the rear with 18's. I want to see some original IS's.

E55 is nice!

I have 2 cars, and my daily driver would be my IS300~ decent power to go around~

Hope I can afford an M in the near future~ right now, 335 will do and love it.

As for TV... man, u guys see the price of the TV recently?? just about a month ago, I saw a 52XBR6 for $1999 with a FREE brand NEW S350 BD player!!!!

and I paid $3400 for my XBR4 just a little over a year ago!!

price really drop fast.. and I'm even thinking to upgrade my bedroom sony 32" L series (I think its L) to a 40" W4100
Yep, same here with the TV. It ran me about $3K for it when I bought it, but like all things, prices drop and what counts is if you're enjoying it.

Have you done any other mods to the E92 other than suspension? I dropped in a Vishnu chip when I bought the car almost 3 years ago and I can't imagine driving the car stock now.

i'll say to that.

nope. Most of my mods are going to be ride quality and cosmetic.

So, basically the only mods are

GP Thunder 7500K angel eye and fogs
matching reflecters / matt black grills
OEM front aero lip and rear lip
KW coilovers
19" V715s

Mods purchased but not installed yet.
mtech rear and sides
Hotchkis sways

Not planning to chip my car for now. I am planning to keep my car for awhile and I bought my car and didnt lease it.. so... Not going to do anything to the engine, as I am satisfied just the way it feels (power wise). So, just doing some small mods to improve the handling / ride a bit.

hows the Vishnu chip? most of people would do JB I think.

you on any other forums? I'm on e90post.com as PNF as well.

I was leaning to getting some coilovers and rims but ended up keeping it sleeper. Budget might have something to do with the decision as well When I first bought the 335 I knew I needed more out of it since we sold the E55. Driving the supercharged V8 really spoiled me so the stock 335 felt a bit too tame. I picked up the Vishnu chip the moment it came out before JB since I was one of the original beta group of testers for the chip. What's really impressive about any of the chips is the increase in torque rather than hp. Even in 6th gear at 40mph, the car will quickly pull to 100 so the flexibility at virtually any rpm is what I like, very similar to a small black V8. Here's my dyno sheet when I had an exhaust on it from stock to adding in the chip through its initial phases. Ran it a few times at a local drag strip and the best I could get was a 12.63 although I can't remember my 0-60ft. Had a hard time controlling the excessive wheelspin and I'm sure the lack of an LSD made it more difficult.

It's been running without problems for almost 3 years now but I did take off the exhaust since it was getting to noisy Probably lost about 15hp and 25lb/ft judging from my butt dyno. I used to post on e90 but after being satisfied with how the car is, I stopped visiting. I should take a peek and see what I've been missing these past 1.5 year.
