Good morning AV Gurus,
I've caught the bug of home theater this year, and so far have purchased my first LCD flat screen (Sony Bravia Z-Series KDL-46Z4100), Blu-Ray Player (Sony BDP-S350), and today, my first AV Receiver arrives (Onkyo TX-SR606). I've been reading much about audio decoding, and I want to make sure I get the best sound possible for my set up. I have 7.1 speakers set up now, but I want to make sure my settings in the Blu Ray Player and Receiver are set up the best possible way for audio processing. I would like to consider myself a pretty savvy guy (I'm a webmaster, afterall), but all of this encoding/decoding stuff has given me a headache! Can one of you specialists here lend me some tips? |
