Bought this at the flea market for $3 dollars, which is exactly as much as I was willing to pay and no more. It also came with an un-redeemed code so that’s a plus. No slipcover though.
It’s as terrible as I expected it to be. The film feels unfinished, there’s so many moments where you can tell that footage was just hastily removed to either keep it PG-13 or not cause more controversy. I’d argue this is worse than The Snowman, which was also an incomplete film, at least that film had a competent cast to carry it. I’ll only give this another shot if Sony gives us that extended cut. Maybe it won’t be better as a film but at least it would be coherent and comprehensible. |
