Setting up a TV for somebody, and everything seems fine, except for one thing. There's a pretty bad Motion Blur(? best way to explain it) problem. I noticed it watching Mulan on 4K, then confirmed it with The Incredibles. Odd thing is, while the problem is definitely there when viewing the 4K disc, when I tested the Blu-ray disc for Incredibles (with 1080p settings), it wasn't there.
4K motion blur examples (pictures make it a bit more noticeable, but still bad in motion) [Show spoiler] Also in this scene particularly, it causes a frame to be carried over to the next shot. It's only there for half a second, but still noticable. Frame before: [Show spoiler] Next shot with frame carried over: [Show spoiler] Then the Blu-ray No motion blur (looks a bit blurry due to taking picture when in motion): [Show spoiler] No frame carried over: [Show spoiler] TV Settings for 4K (1080p is same, except backlight is changed to 68) [Show spoiler] Sony UBP-X700 4K Settings [Show spoiler] Sony UBP-X700 1080p Settings [Show spoiler]
