I guess I should start this with my current set up. I have
Sony BDP-S1 360 Elite xbox motorolla DCT6416 III Cable box Sony STR-DG800 (plan on upgrading to the new Yamaha rx-v3800) reciever Sony scd-ce595 SACD Player Sony KDS60A2000 sxrd tv Infinity SW-12 Subwoofer I also have a vcr (which i don't use) and a fan all hooked up to my power supply (just the best place for it in the room and not many outlets) My question is this Currently I have this all in a crapy surge protector one of the cheap monster cable ones (talking like $15 cheap), I have been debating between the higher end ones such as the HTS-5100 or the HTPS-7000. I would like something worth while. I have 10 items to plug in so I can get by with the 5100 but the 7000 has two more outlets. Has anyone compared these two models, I want to know if there is a noticable difference between the two? |
