I hope not, I am really happy with the sub and the receiver. They aren't begging for the upgrade like the Polks anyway. New TV is after the Paradigms.

I agree, when you get your Paradigms, I think the rest of your system will suffice. That is...until the bug gets you again and you start craving separates!

I meant no harm, I was just pointing out that as soon as most of us get something new... well we want to upgrade everything else too haha.

Paradigms eh? Wish I had the coinage for that.

I figured you'd be the next person around here to do a major upgrade.

Lemme give you a piece of advice on the Monitor speakers. If you can't get a decent price out of them (and right now, it's really hard what with NewEgg and all) keep them. I have been toying setting up a little gaming area and moving my LCD up there and buying a new one for downstairs. Only thing is that I'd have to get some new speakers again... kind of wish I'd kept my Polks.

I sold mine recently and got more out of them than you're asking, and it was still painful for me. I would just hang onto them for now. Keep your Craigslist ad up (after all, it's free) and see what happens. Just need the right set of eyes on them.

Upgraditis...., I figured those polks weren't gonna last more then another year.... not sure what you are shopping for but the Monitor 7 v.5 are about $380 on 6ave.com you might keep that as a reference point when negotiating...

I am really an instant gratification find of person, so all of this saving and building slowly is going to kill me. It should be pretty sick when it is all said and done though.

I am looking at the Monitor 7 v.6, they gave me a price close to 900 dollars for the pair. I am sure that can be negotiated though!
