Thumbs up Mark Donskoy's Maxim Gorky trilogy
I don't think there's ever been a North American release of these three films. They're currently on YouTube, and after watching the first one, I'm amazed more people don't know about them. Seems to be a slim chance they could be released on Blu-ray, but I'm curious if anyone else has knowledge of these films.

The Childhood of Maxim Gorky (1938)

Gorky 2: My Apprenticeship (aka On His Own, 1939)

Gorky 3: My Universities (1940)
