Still the point is, they used some film on it, Doctor Strange used some film (with same cinematographer, guess it’s his artistic preference), Black Panther was nearly shot completely on film, all the early ones through Thor were shot on film. There is no evidence I’ve heard for some kind of digital mandate, merely that most of the movies are shot digitally because that’s now the common movie making format.

I don’t necessarily believe Nolan would make a Marvel movie, but if he did, he would definitely be allowed to shoot on film.
