Old HD tv show were shot in 1080i Digitally sometime, they were the first Digital Cam for Tv show , they were cheap. Some were shot when film, so that's fine, others in 1080i (natively). If you have a good Blu-ray player that do 1080i to 1080p correctly. You'll end up with a perfectly fine 1080p/60 (witch is a 2:2 30p transfert). Off course one of the only processor that can do it correctly is the REON or GENOM and Blu-ray player with it are rare now... Btw Star Trek is CBS too and since it was SHOT in Film it's 1080p/24 because it's his native framerate Last edited by ryoohki; 05-05-2009 at 03:41 PM. |
