Default Grave Encounters 10th Anniversary Edition - Out Now

One of my favorite indie horror films from the last decade finally has it's North American Blu Ray debut this month. Sadly the powers that be have decided to dump this one on a BD-R and call it a day. Perhaps there is still hope for a wider pressed release down the line, but for folks vehemently opposed to buying the Region A friendly UK edition, (link here) this is still very much worth a purchase. (Seriously though, just buy the UK edition on Amazon. It's a pressed disc and has a cheaper price.) The sequel which continues the events right from the end of the first film is available on Amazon for only $8 currently as well.

I'm not sure what the "New and Exclusive extras" are but I can't imagine they'll make up for this being a BD-R. Still, much like Summer of '84, this should be in every self respecting indie horror fans collection as I give it a thumbs up as I had a lot of fun with both it and the sequel. (I'm still holding out hope for a 3rd and final entry as well)
