Yesterday afternoon I received a random offer from Confirmed for four different Yeezy's - but since I was at the office and didn't look at my phone right away there was only one offering I liked in my size left so I ordered a pair of 380 Calcite Glow. I usually don't get white shoes but I've always wanted a pair of the glows for novelty.

I guess I should be glad I didn't pick up any other offerings yesterday, the LeBron 8 Sprite get re-released on Friday and they finally set a date for South Beach 8 re-release this morning. I am going to have dilemma that morning too. I will be in Disneyland with the family on Saturday Jul 10. When you are there you have to sign up for a boarding group for the new Spiderman ride at 7am... the same time the drawing starts on SNKRS. Gonna have a couple phones going, will be stressful - ugh

Materials on all of these feel very cheap IMO. Not sure if they will look good with much wear. I'll probably never know (because I don't wear my shoes much)

5 is hard to do... If I had to separate OGs from Retro+

Jordan 1 Shadow, Jordan 8 Aqua, Jordan 11 BRED, Jordan 6 Infrared, Jordan 13 HGG

Jordan 1 Obsidian, Jordan 3 AMM, Jordan 11 Cap and Gown, Jordan 6 PSG, Jordan 12 Indigo

If I had to choose between the two line ups I'd actually pick the Retro+ colorways, because I prefer blue over red in general.

For whatever reason my confirmation email at niketalk forum won’t go through and no one at the site will reply to my email request for assistance, so I’ve given up trying to post there and ask for info on raffles.

But I’ve decided to go all out to try to cop the upcoming J3 Racer Blues for retail.

I plan to enter as many raffles as I can, though preferably ones that don’t require payment information up front.

…any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can't believe I took an L on the LeBron 8 Sprite's today, didn't think they'd be that popular. Most LeBron's go straight to retail, no raffle. I'll keep an eye on them to see if the initial aftermarket rush drops down closer to retail.

FedEx is infuriating.

I was supposed to get my Jordan 6 DMPs by Friday.

They’ve been sitting in a FedEx facility in Portland, Oregon for three days.

…I’m two hours away.

Hey Ray, are you in Oregon? I thought you were from NY or the East Coast. I'm assuming now that you're in Oregon but not sure if Portland is two hours from any other states. Just out of curiosity, have you ever been to the Nike campus? I'm assuming that it's open to the public...

Yes I live in Eugene, where Nike was actually founded.

Never been to the campus.

But I’m a University of Oregon graduate.

…and supposedly I can go the Nike Employee store once a year.

I have to pay a $55 annual membership fee to become part of the alumni association.

So add that to whatever shoes I might buy, for one visit.

Plus gas money to drive 4 hours round trip.

Not entirely sure it’s worth it if I don’t know for sure what they would have in my size.

According to FedEx, they’ve been in transit in Portland since Thursday morning.

The last day of the delivery window is this Tuesday.

…would be crushing to lose these in the mail.

There’s a disturbing trend on eBay where sellers are listing Shadow 2.0s as 2013 Shadows.

I don’t think it’s with any malicious intent.

I think there are new sneakerheads, if you want to call them that, who legitimately don’t understand the difference.

…and they’re trying to make a quick buck reselling.

So…a question for all you sneaker heads.

My Jordan 6 DMPs finally arrived today and while they appear to be in new condition, and obviously passed the authentication process, they’re missing the gold dog tags that come with the shoe. Why that is exactly, I couldn’t say and can’t ask the buyer, because he disabled the contact seller function for authenticated items. Probably so he can wash his hands of any buyer concerns, post purchase.

The only question is whether or not I should leave him a negative rating? And whether he could make up some bs excuse to do the same to me out of spite.

…what would you do?
