Watching any Snyder product followed by the major symbol is antithetical in itself.
Regardless of the elements of comparison. If you are used to Micheal Bay, the only all-time great you can name is Tarantino and you have a knowledge background limited to this decade, it is obvious that you find yourself liking Snyder. Not that it's bad in itself, but the problem always comes back to the public. Let's understand that people who go to the cinema are careless. God forbid the taste, for heaven's sake, it would be enough just to have humility, when we pretend to talk about something. These are the same people who refuse to watch high quality films, but then accuse you of using absolutistic and gatekeeper tone towards you if you dare to contradict them. |

I'm not allowed to quote him apparently, but I still think DVR a swell guy despite his resentment of me.
![]() ![]() Also, Little Shop of Horrors (1986) (both endings versions) > Little Shop of Horrors (1960). I should really re-watch the 1986 version. It's been a while. |

I actually enjoy the Corman original more, the real knockabout sense of filmmaking and ramshackle production is really charming. Of course the Frank Oz musical is a lot of fun, but just seeing these guys stitch together a proper film is two days (and a not half bad one at that) is really admirable and heartwarming that gets lost in the 80’s version.

Ramboraph4life OliverHarper etc Are superior youtube critics to JeremyJahns, ChrisStuckmann, Scardey Cat etc. because the three above are REAL people with actual passions for movies and do honest film criticisms and rants and have standards. |
