Default Free Blu-ray Player With Purchase Of Any Hdtv Display Marketing Idea

Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, Pioneer and other companies could sale many BLU-RAY players this Christmas if they changed their marketing strategy.

1. Sony could increase the price of all their HDTV displays $300 and then bundle a low cost BLU-RAY player with every HDTV display they sale this Christmas. On the Sony website if every HDTV display listed mentioned a free BLU-RAY player is included then everyone that buys a HDTV display would also own a BLU-RAY player.

2. Panasonic, Samsung, and Pioneer could offer similar bundle deals that included a free BLU-RAY player with a purchase of a HDTV display. Of course the list price of HDTV displays would go up in price if a free BLU-RAY player is included with every HDTV display. Toshiba could offer a similar deal for HD-DVD but since they are the only company currently making standalone players they would be totally crushed since most people are going to choose another brand besides Toshiba. Toshiba is only one company.
