No, I would pass over a title that has a mixing team issue (again which is NOT on the HD-DVD) for ~25% of the film, including the ending which is a significant problem.

I have read your explanation, and coupled with your contradicting review (the disc has a serious issue, but you should still buy it? ), I dont get it.

I dont represent the "average BD consumers" and neither do the VAST majority of people who read your reviews......most of us here are enthusiasts which goes beyond the norm to some degree and to most these people, this would be considered unnacceptable.

Again, when somebody tells me the issue is "serious" and it affects ~25% of the film, that is all I need to hear (or not hear in this case). Again, DigitalFreakNYC is somebody whos opinion I know and have learned to trust over the years associating with him on AVS forum. Knowing how picky I am with audio, a purchase would be something I would regret considering there is a serious mixing flaw which is not present on the HD-DVD.

I dont have to hear a BR that has a mix that is flawed for ~25% of the film to know that a purchase is out of the question. Just knowing that, and again, knowing that the issue is NOT on the HD-DVD is more than enough to keep me from a purchase. In light of that, I am confident my reputation will NOT be harmed

You are downplaying the problem for reasons unknown.....Bottom line is a mistake has been made and it is a big one considering it harms ~25% of the film! I dont feel I am making a mountain out of a molehill, but am simply calling it like it is which you are not for whatever reason.

Bottom line is this disc is flat out flawed as far as the audio mix. If the company wants to do the right thing, they will fix it, period. This is a big enough issue to be deemed unacceptable as far as a purchase IMO.
