I was just about to purchase this Australian Madman Entertainment release of Parasite in 4K UHD, which came out 2 June 2021, but then I noticed the listing on this site showed it has the following audio options:
Korean: DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (48kHz, 24-bit) Korean: LPCM 2.0 I had remembered this had an Atmos track so I checked the US Universal Studios release, which came out 2 June 2020, and sure enough, this site lists the audio options as: Korean: Dolby Atmos Korean: Dolby TrueHD 7.1 French (Canada): Dolby Digital 5.1 I noticed the site listing also has the US version with HDR10+ and the Aus version with just HDR10. What's going on here? Is the Australian 4K release just a crappier version? |
