Well the Italian website described 2 60 min behind the scenes featurettes which used to be VHS exclusive. Genesis 0:0. They also list a 5.1 Soundtrack CD with 22 tracks handpicked by Anno.

I really hope that isn't going to be the standard for all the Eva releases. I want something shelf friendly, and not some giant box that I'm going to have to "unwrap" every time I want to pull one disc out (let alone store somewhere behind my movie rack on the floor) =/

Amazon Prime Video announced on Thursday that it will exclusively stream Evangelion: 3.0+1.01: Thrice Upon A Time (Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban :||), the new version of the "final" Evangelion film, worldwide (except Japan) on August 13.

The film will stream with dubs in 10 languages including English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian. The film will also stream in Japanese with subtitles in 28 languages.

Not bad. But you can still see those are the LP sizes that Aniplex JP similarly uses for their limited releases.

I don't need a box to be bluray sized. But once you start going bigger than vhs sizes, then I run in to problems =/

Should be stated, that going by Anime Limited history, they eventually do a collectors edition (standard chipboard box) release for their previous ultimate editions, I'm sure GKids would follow. So we very well could see that in a year or so.
