That would be the best way to not waste your money if you want the best out of what you spend. I would start off with a nice 4.0 system with a receiver. Get the receiver here, and then two of these and these. Then, save for a CS20, and another pair of these for 7.0. For a subwoofer, you could look at the offerings from eD, Acoustic Audio, Premier Audio, SVS, AV123, HSU, ect. Internet direct subwoofer manufacturers tend to offer the best subwoofers at the best prices vs. in-store bought subwoofers.
