Still, something, something, giving the enemy a gun to shoot you with. See it can be done! They all should be done!!

Also why Nae Changes "recommendation" for IB is stupid. It's a 2K upscale, not native. So you aren't suddenly going to get bags of detail by virtue of size. A more robust image vs the HD Blu, sure.

The main refinements in luminosity and colour from HDR can be seen at any size. I mean they have 32" grading monitors for fook sake. And also there's an argument with these premium end consumer chipsets, that having a smaller screen size to work with yields better performance in HDR processing. Actually it probably isn't even an argument I imagine.

YouTube is full of tubes.

SpareChange doesn't do reviews, he looks at it and gives his opinion. Does the same with audio and video gear "Yeah, so this looks good" or "Yeah, I don't like the sound". Never understood why anyone follows him.

You want depressing? Read the comment section of the FAH review. So many people make decisions just on his word alone. Like I said I don't care that he makes the videos, it is that people blindly follow him.

Oh if only people had supported me in my bid to have Kino cancel their partnership with him, hmmmm?

Such actions as that proving successful might lead to other labels and studios reconsidering their partnerships. Eventually his audience would notice that, and thus start to wake up.

That's alllllright though. We can just go round in circles everytime these threads everytime one of his "reviews" is goes up.

Can we all stop making fun of Films At Home please? I wouldn't want Films At Home to be offended if he finds forum posts like these on a new disc's thread on a major media collector forum site.

And calling Robert Harris "clueless about digital" is absurd. He's made mistakes, but so has everybody.

FAH is the worst. When I first got into 4K I would watch some of his videos ( I didn't know any better) and then I started noticing all the wrong info he was sharing. It was apparent I knew more than he did. Joker shot on film? GTFOOH do your damn research.

Won't someone think of the poor YouTuber!

He does actually have a defender. Haven't seen him around here in awhile. Maybe he gave up or got banned or both.

Just so you know, when Films At Home was given the 2001: A Space Odyssey UHD by Warner Bros., they also gave him an exclusive packet containing how the disc was made and who all was involved. He goes over it in his review.

WB knew he wouldn't do his own research so they had to make sure he got something right.
