Is it the same DTS-MA track from the previous blu ray?

LOL.
No doubt. Unless you are unboxing some crazy deluxe box set such as Almost Famous Uber Deluxe these unboxing videos are completely unnecessary. Oh a disc! Oh a case! The end.

Anyone who pre-ordered from Zavvi had any movement? They haven’t even taken the money from my account yet

Sounds like it is yeah!

Another scene from the bluray and then I'll stop haha ! It looks slightly compressed though, it looks way better on the actual bluray !

Does anyone ever do that thing in their mind where you think about the passing of time? For example: A Nightmare On Elm Street seems like forever ago, but Scream only seems like yesterday when in actuality we're twice as far away from the original release of Scream as the difference in years between ANOES and Scream's release dates (+/- 12 years). It makes me feel old.

I can tell we're in for a real treat here. Even on a compressed YouTube clip, the improvements are on full display. The wide shots, which were muddy and plagued with sharpening effects on the old Blu-ray, now look natural and pristinely detailed. So hyped for this, but absolutely gutted we're not getting 2 and 3 alongside it. Next year please, Paramount!

Was disappointed I slept on the pre-orders for the steelbook but the slipcover on the standard release is amazing and honestly my preferred version.

*Edit

I see it's still available on Amazon. Sticking with the slip.

Even more crazy is there's been a Scream released in each of the last four decades

Scream and Scream 2 were 90's. Scream 3 came out in the 2000's. Scream 4 released in the 2010's with Scream 5 in the 2020's.

Honestly I was not that hyped by the steelbook but it does look really good, i love how minimalistic it is and there is a spot gloss on the knife it looks pretty in person. I would have loved to have the original artwork as a 4 page booklet inside for instance.

a good 4k of a pre 2005 movie warrants appreciation for the original theatrical poster in equally good quality

I'm at the age where I don't need movies to feel old. However, whenever I see someone who starred in a movie I love talking about the making of it, and since it's forty years later they look quite a bit different...yeah, that's hard to deal with.

I sometimes find it difficult to watch the show "The Movies That Made Us" on Netflix for that very reason.

Melissa Barrera has blood on her costume, but not a single make up cut. Hope her character lives, she is a great actress.

Yeah that happens. That 90s Show is coming out now. The 1990s are older now than the 1970s were when That 70s Show debuted.

Noice. That might be the highest res poster of the film I’ve ever seen. And I’ve googled for them, for this particular film, quite a bit.

Nice find. I've been on the hunt for an original DS 27x40 poster to no avail. Might either have to settle of a SS or see if a print shop can do a custom print.

Man I can get loads of these. Do people want copies of theatrical posters? Shall I make a thread?

I'm beginning to wonder the same thing. I know someone who works at Best Buy and they usually get new releases shipped to the store the week prior to release date. Tomorrow's Friday and he said he hasn't seen it in the warehouse yet. Hmmm. Anyone preorder from Best Buy have it ship yet? My preorders from Best Buy always come early, though I didn't preorder this one, so IDK.

I pre-ordered from Best Buy but not until early this week. No shipping confirmation as of yet.
