Tom Cruise is a Jack Reacher Fan asked Lee Child for permission to play the Role. If Lee Child said no, he wouldn't play Reacher. Lee Child said okay because he thinks Cruise is a great actor (which he is) and believed there is no one who look like Reacher and can act anyway. But later Child said his decission was a mistake because he underestimate how important the pysical part is.

And about the Titans guy. I enjoyed the trailer but my only worry is that this Reacher will talk too much, because the most written sentence in the books is: Reacher said nothing.

LOL! "Reacher said nothing". Right. Something I enjoy in the books is when Reacher's thoughts are spelled out, usually having to do with something that looks "off" and he puts his powers of observation to work. I hope they can convey some of that stuff.
