I am in the process of updating my entertainment equipment. What I have now, you would probably all laugh at. I know that I'm going to buy a 30-40" 720p LCD. I can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p while in the store...other than by the price tag. So I was thinking of getting a cheaper TV and a BD player as well. The thing is, I have noticed a lot of bad reviews on all BD models....well more like all of the "affordable" BD players at least. Is it worth it to buy a BD player?
If I had a DVD player, would its output only be 480p? I am sort of thinking of just buying a nice DVD player and saving hundreds of dollars that could be spent going to the movies or more beer. sorry if this was annoying to you gurus. |
