As far as Disc Release, Netflix wants the Subscribers but down the road I hope you are happy with DVD!
I am assuming your referencing dvd applies to physical media in general, or are you prognosticating that Ozarks will have a dvd release only?

I like King Arthur and Dune. Have not seen Free Guy or Tarzan.

We have this thing called a thermostat that regulates the temperature inside the house. So no matter how cold or hot it is outside we stay at whatever the thermostat is set to.
Seriously why was this question even asked. We don't pay your bills and for darn straight wouldn't walk one foot toward pretending to know your personal situation.

I need to check it out... never heard of it. My guess is Netflix series offered in 4K will continue to come to UHD BD like they already have.

I nearly bought the Cobra Kai DVDs but I would rather watch the 4K streaming version than the DVD all things considered. Would buy the series in UHD though for sure.

For the American Football fans amongst us, should be a great day to settle in for two great matchups today!

Box Office: ‘Spider-Man’ Swings Past ‘Jurassic World,’ ‘Lion King’ on All-Time Global List - Hollywood Reporter 1/23

Sony and Marvel's superhero pic is now No. 6 on the list of all-time top grossing films at the worldwide box office, not adjusted for inflation.

Quote:
Holdovers Spider-Man: No Way Home and Scream led a quiet weekend at the U.S. box office amid the ongoing omicron surge and a lack of high-profile new movies.

Still, No Way Home made headlines on the global stage as it passed up 2019’s The Lion King ($1.66 billion) and 2015’s Jurassic World ($1.67 billion) to become the No. 6 film of all time worldwide with $1.69 billion in worldwide ticket sales through Sunday, not adjusted for inflation.

In North America, Sony and Marvel’s No Way Home returned to No. 1 in its sixth weekend with an estimated $14.1 million from 3,705 theaters for a domestic total of $721 million, the fourth-best showing of all time.

Overseas, it grossed another $27.7 million from 63 markets for a foreign tally of $970.1 million.

Scream, from Paramount and Spyglass, fell to No. 2 in its second outing domestically with $12.4 million from 3,666 cinemas for a pleasing domestic total of $51.3 million and $84.9 million globally. The pic has successfully relaunched the classic slasher franchise after a long hiatus.

Universal and Illumination’s Sing 2 also stayed high up on the chart in its fifth weekend, placing third with $5.7 million from 3,434 locations for a domestic cume of $128.4 million.

Internationally, Sing 2 earned $12.6 million from 55 markets for a foreign cume of $112.8 million and $241.1 million worldwide.

The new Christian Western romance drama Redeeming Love, released nationwide in 1,903 theaters with little fanfare, placed fourth domestically with $3.7 million. The movie, directed by D.J. Caruso, is produced by Pinnacle Peak Pictures and Mission Pictures and distributed by Universal.

Redeeming Love, set against the backdrop of the California Gold Rush, did best in the South.

The weekend’s other new wide release, The King’s Daughter, couldn’t crack the $1 million mark and instead earned an estimated $700,000 from 2,170 theaters. The fantasy royal drama, from Gravitas Ventures and placing No. 8, stars Pierce Brosnan, Kaya Scodelario and Benjamin Walker.

The King’s Daughter placed No. 8 domestically.

The King’s Man, from 20th Century and Disney, rounded out the top five with an estimated $1.8 million. Globally, it jumped the $100 million mark to finish Sunday with a worldwide total of $105.3 million.

I really enjoyed the Bengals game yesterday and plan to watch the Bucs and Rams.

Edit - I don't like the way the early game is going but I have to say it looks so good on the new projector I can't do anything but smile anyhow.

Rams are a difficult matchup on both sides of the ball. They certainly are causing Brady problems right now.

I grew up in L.A. so I go way back with the Rams, and then I moved up to the Bay Area and made the 49ers my second team. It might be the Rams and 49ers next week!

Well the Rams held off the Bucs, and it will be Rams vs 49ers next week......Go Rams!!!

Watched "Riders of Justice" on BD. That's A Danish film that stars Mads Mikkelsen. It was badass and not what I was expecting. It was a rental from my video store and I also rented the Twilight Time BD of Richard III starring Ian McKellan.

At least the game got fun to watch, for a while it was only one team having any luck.

Afterwords, I watched The Cabin in the Woods. I can't stay up late for the night games but looks like the night game was a good one too.

I'm not interested in any of the remaining teams apart from the Bengals. If they go to the SB, then I am certainly interested. Both of the times the Bengals made it to the SB they lost to the 49ers and there's a chance for a rematch.

Chiefs vs Rams would be the least interesting possibility but that could still be a fun Superbowl. I'll probably watch it no matter who goes.

The Bills Chiefs game was one of the best playoff games I have ever seen. You missed a wild one.

Incredible game. Sad to see the Bills get the loss though, they've been a blast to watch the last few years.

But that was the definition of exciting playoff football. I was on the edge of my seat the entire 4th Quarter.

Something weird happened last night while watching Ozark season 4 on Netflix in AppleTV4K.

The first three episodes were shown as 4K SDR but starting the 4th episode, it became 4K HDR.

When I finished watching the entire season, I went back to the first 3 episodes, but they are now have turned back to 4K HDR.

WTH!!!!

There's a glitch that I know of, when you watch the recap, it will not go into DV/HDR automatically. It stays in SDR. You'd have to exit and restart the episode minus the recap. That's the workaround.
