Gore Verbinski's The Mexican finally coming to Blu-ray in English market but by Shock

DreamWorks and Gore Verbinski's The Mexican starring Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, J. K. Simmons etc is finally coming to Blu-ray in an English market but sadly we can't get too excited.

Despite recently giving another DreamWorks movie in The Haunting to Umbrella, Paramount has licensed this one to Shock.

Thankfully the aspect ratio is listed as 2.35:1 so it's not cropped like Shock's release of The Missing but it comes with Shock's standard Dolby Digital 5.1 sound and will no doubt come with their poor quality encode and no special features. Oh and in typical Shock fashion it will go out of print in 5 minutes. The cheap price on release really sums up the value. On a nice touch though it's releasing a week after it's 21st anniversary.

Well on the bright side I wasn't waiting for it to be released in Australia anyway, I've been waiting on Paramount to release it in USA.
