I finally looked online and found a bunch of sites that tell you how to hack your player, and make it Region free. Unfortunately, most say the hacks won't work on Sony.
A new Region Free player is over $100. Which for me is a lot of money. I'd eventually save it with all the films I buy. But, to spend $100 is hard for me to do.
I went to one of our 15 neighborhood thrift stores. They had a Samsung 3D DB-5500 used in the box with remote for $20 with 50% off. If it didn't work, I have 7 days to return it.
Samsung's you can hack. I got it home, set it up. I didn't have to hack it. I put in a Region B movie and it worked GREAT.
I'm going on a old movie spending spree.

There are some discs that says region B but are region free... you could have one of those.
I have movies from Brazil region A(3 MCU movies) on case and disc and it plays smooth on my region B 3D player because they're region free.
