While it's true that many members do not use the search function enough, which oftentimes leads to a multitude of similar threads, there are also many members have have legitimate questions about the differences between the various display technologies. Sometimes reading about technologies, seperate and apart from a dedicated thread to discuss them, leads to no real answers. There are many different models within each display type and it can be a very daunting task to try and decipher what they all mean and the possible benefit they might have. A discussion to ask questions about this from members with real-world experience is a plausible and, for me, perfectly acceptable method of gaining more knowledge. John |
