It's just general suspension of disbelief that we have to do for any shared superhero universes. Nothing new in comic books, movies, or shows. And let's be frank: it'd be a lose-lose for these folks. If they show or talk about it, we'll complain we don't even want to be reminded this exists in cheap CWland. If they don't talk about it, then we complain about it for other reasons. And maybe I'm over-analyzing, but they didn't really portray Arrowverse Supergirl to be as "global" in her operations as Superman, even if she's every bit as capable and powerful as he is. She saved that plane in the series premiere, but that was relatively local and it didn't seem like she was off saving the world aside from some supervillains.

What is with the breaks during this season?

First break no episodes till March 22nd. We get the episode now no episodes till April 26th. what's going on?
There was a break during the Olympics (and many shows paused at that time), although I don't think I've heard what this one is. Does this show take longer in post compared to the lower budget CW content? That could be a factor if so.
