I was thinking this during the film, but my 3D normie pals also got the same impression. Now, I can understand The King's Man being set for 3D as it was a film set for 2019, but Sonic 2 was filmed in 2021.
Another 3D film that not only never received a bluray but also never received a (publicly released) conversion?

First Sonic The Hedgehog was a 3D lost oportunity as it had lots of scenes that would work in 3D too. But it's Paramount, they don't care for 3D anyways...
