Watched Born to be Wild. What’s cuter than baby animals? Good story, great 3D and MF narration, good call 13, highly recommended.

Edit: When the elephant kicked the soccer ball out of the screen...I flinched!

Rewatched RE Afterlife. The Resident Evils are definitely an acquired taste, but if your into them the 3D is great. Recommended. I guess I’ll have to watch the other two in 3D!

Edit: I love Milla... but she can’t act, not a lick.

2D… just watched it Sing 2 on streaming, such a shame this won’t get a 3D Blu ray release, there were obvious moments that 3D would have been great.

Yes, this is truly a shame.

Unfortunately it is more than very likely that all future 3D movies from that studio like "Minions 2" and "Mario" will also released only pancake flat. Makes me sad!

Just watched Gog. Nice 3D throughout which helped to add to the enjoyment but nothing spectacular. Started off well with pretty decent dialogue and even a little bit of character development. But it got silly towards the end. When I watch "Gog" I think of B-movies in drive in theatres. Kind of like Transformers but without the advanced technology and audiovisual whizzbang that would normally distract me from any story shortcomings lol. But I watched it all the way through and the 3D definitely makes a difference.

Hi cdx47,

The only problem I had with Gog was the story being reflective of the cold War. The 3D was great.

Default Ratatouille and Bigfoot Family (and Region Free Finally!)

I finally took the plunge and bought me a region free player. Opens up a whole new world. I watched Ratatouille which I had purchased back in 2015 when Amazon UK had it listed as region free by mistake. They refunded me and told me to keep it. It was great to finally see it in 3D.

Ratatouille 3D Blu-ray

I also watched Bigfoot Family. The 3D on this one is fantastic.

Now I can't wait to get my copy of Corgi 3D.

Welcome to the region-free club! It’s so much better in here! You need to pick up all the nWave films if you don’t have them all already. The best animated 3D you can get. A TURTLE’S TALE, (THUNDER AND) THE HOUSE OF MAGIC, SON OF BIGFOOT and BIGFOOT FAMILY are all practically perfect in every way. Next down would be A TURTLE’S TALE 2 and ROBINSON CRUSOE, second tier in terms of an involving story but still quite good on that level and the 3D is fantastic — TT2 has an absolutely mindboggling chase sequence. You’ll know it when you see it. Last for me would be THE QUEEN’S CORGI, which has a terrible script IMO but definitely not boring and again the 3D is stupendous. CHICKENHARE AND THE HAMSTER OF DARKNESS I obviously haven’t seen yet, but I have it on preorder and am super stoked about it!

Speaking of Region B, some recent used purchases I made from Medimops.de. I believe all are English friendly. Bought directly from the website though I've seen their marketplace on Amazon too. Shipping is per movie but it is very reasonable if you are only buying 1-2 movies at time, which is what I did since most of these would come in and out of stock. Everything arrived in good shape and pretty quickly considering the economy shipping cost.

3 very good movies!, nWave has the strongest 3D but we love Ratatouille, the 3D brings it alive

Your going to find the king Tut disc alone reason enough to venture into region free

'Cold war' is the phrase I should have added to the word 'silly'. It came from Outer Space is Ray Bradbury. Gog is US DoD via Hollywood.

If I may offer some unsolicited advice Decide on whether you want to watch movies and subjects you like in 3D or just want to experience what 3D has to offer. Personally I think I am at the point of diminishing returns. I'm glad I've watched (or at least seen) my 3D discs and I don't hate any of them, but given the choice there's a few discs I would gladly sell on now that I have seen them. You will spend money either way, but it will also make a difference as to how much you spend.

I've now seen The Queen's Corgi all the way through and the 3D is indeed very fun. Have to pause the popout to appreciate it, but that's how most movies seem to be. I'm not sure what's wrong with the script for it..?

For Gog, how hokey are we talking? I've bought the bluray so I'm committed, and I've seen enough Star Trek to have a high tolerance for Cold War allegories, at least, so I think.
