Anime Limited’s emails (from yesterday and today) regarding Future Boy Conan’s delay.

You're receiving this email as you've placed an order for the Future Boy Conan Part 1 Collector's Edition from our AllTheAnime.com store.

We're contacting you to make you aware that the release date of this item has moved to 6th June 2022.

This delay is due to additional time required for production/replication of the UHD Blu-ray discs for this release, which has necessitated this date change for the title.

Rest assured your order for this item will be shipped as soon as humanly possible once stock arrives at our warehouse.

How does this impact the status of my order?
Simply put, it doesn't. Nothing else has changed except the release date.

Can I change my shipping address?

The bonus dvds from the US set are region 1 and 2.

Looks like Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise has had a 4k restoration and will be recieving a theatrical run and UHD in Japan as part of its 35th anniversary. Potential for a 4k upgrade with ATA?

They're releasing a limited edition with the complete storyboards (printed in full for the first time), and bonus features will include 110mins of content including an upscaled 'making of' featurette not released since VHS and more. Honneamise is an all time favourite, so I’ve got it preordered at Amazon Japan, though it ain’t exactly cheap.
If ATA were to give any kind of hint/announcement that they will release a UHD over here, then I’d definitely consider cancelling the Japanese version and wait for the UK version instead. Plenty of time for that to happen I guess…
