My guess is Ignite hasn't finalized plans for US distribution, so why not piggy-back on TCM debut and related buzz, showcase the title's potential and put at ease any US IP concerns. Perhaps by selling the title in the US, albeit a limited number, Ignite may be able to secure legal rights and related protection.

Established US boutique labels have the audience and the wherewithal to maximize the opportunity far beyond Ignite, just as Arrow will surely offer in the UK, if not elsewhere as well.
