All of which makes me wonder, what's the sweatiest 3D movie, the one that really makes you feel the heat..? Fury Road maybe? Inferno? Perhaps the trick at the moment is to watch something like Everest to help cool you down. (I re-watched that one a couple of weeks ago, it's one of my favourite 3D films.)

(I'll pop a picture over to you in a day or two. I'm getting a new Sony laser projector in later today, just temporarily, replacing the JVC laser one that I had in for a while.)

Just watched Chicken Little. It's a cute and enjoyable animated film but nothing out of the ordinary.

Overall the 3D is good. I did not notice ghosting problems as inferred in the review (and I was looking for it too). But there is a lack of uniform balance. Objects consistently protrude nicely beyond the screen but backround depth is weak with images only going so far into the screen. More appears closer than further away.

It's still a nice addition to one's 3D collection.

Just found out there was a French release of Ronal the Barbarian with English audio. Just ordered a used copy from Amazon France for $31

So my copy of XXX Return of Xander Cage arrived and I've spent a few minutes going through it. I'm glad its looks like a very competent 3D conversion because I don't think I could watch this in 2D. Another movie where you don't so much have to suspend your disbelief as to lock it away in a box under the bed lol.

Apenstreken's Blu-ray 3D (NL) does not have English subtitles. They are available on the internet if you can remux though. It's not that great of a movie, mainly because it's aimed at a juvenile audience. The 3D is native and looks fantastic though.

Rewatched Black Widow. The movie is growing on me and the 3D is pretty good to really good depending on the scene and of course there’s ScarJo. I think my initial resistance was probably based on the cost because I’m a cheap bas****.

yeah I was thinking cost only. If I ordered that I would be ordering the other 3 marvels too, so it'd be $200 plus shipping, but only one shipping charge instead of 4.

I got it for just over 50 dollars which is more than I wanted to spend but much less than the 80 dollars it normally costs. So I'm just about ok with that.

When the Spanish crusaders form a firing line near the end of the film, did you see a gun barrel pop out?

Was the scene in the sliding ship overly dark on your setup? Was the Jack vs. Jack fight sequence overly dark also?

Too bad that the action scenes feel like they're done at half speed. I suppose the new director + the new format is the cause of that. Still a fun film though, I agree, and while its popout isn't all that frequent, it has some that is even strong enough to be seen in anaglyph
