I saw that but I already had the 4K's of Matrix and Reloaded, plus that set does not include the special features discs included with the single 4K releases. All I need now is the Revolutions 4K to complete my collection but I will wait for a good sale because it is easily my least favorite of the series.

That's understandable. Your wording just made it sound like you didn't have any of them in 4K.

I've only bought 1 thing so far and that was an AGC for $50 to get that additional $12.50 promotion.

I was supposed to snag The Meg yesterday for $11.99 but I forgot and that deal expired.

My old Sony soundbar just died. We had a power outage last night and now it won't come on. Tried different outlets and all sorts of troubleshooting but it has given up the ghost. It did last 10 years so I can't complain too much.

But as a result I just ordered this Atmos soundbar:

I know it's not going to deliver a true Atmos experience but with my budget and space it should be perfect. GameStop had it on sale for $349.99 so I got it $110 cheaper than Amazon. Rtings.com says it's the best Atmos soundbar under $500 so looking forward to trying it out.

Just ordered Unbreakable 4K disc used from Gamefly for $9.49. It will come with the case, artwork, BD, and digital copy, as well.

I almost bought Eldenring for the PS5 for $33 and some change but I have that in the queue and want to play it first before buying it outright.

It's worse than that. No security or compatability issues. Just being Aholes. I've also lost a bunch of DLC for other games in the past also that couldn't be redownloaded. It's horrible. People aren't going to wake up from this until they lose whole collections. Movies, games, or music. Even then, at least for games and movies, most people are just people that consume something just to stimulate their brains for a little bit and move on. Could care less about here today, gone tomarrow. Which you'd figure these types would want physical more, since they can just sell it and put that toward their next brain stimulation.

Lugging movies or games around, is still better than losing them all in an instant because of some Ahole in the suit. Plus if people really want digital, there's free plex servers someone can rip their movies to on their own private server. I do that when I'm on the road, but home I use discs. Its going to be a sad future for entertainment media. Not only do things suck more these days, but we'll never own any of it in an capacity.

I understand about Stream. I do the same, but at least Steam isnt as strict about things. Plus, you can get Steam games for dirt cheap. Usually through Humble Bundles and such. Still would suck to lose it all though.

Hmm, interesting article. I have Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3, though I did get the remastered ACIII so no issues there.

I'm not aware of any DLC for Far Cry 3. Blood Dragon is the closest thing I can think of and that is sold as a standalone game now I believe. SO at the moment not too upset with this. I just hope it will be an isolated event.

I have some surround headphones but apart from that, yes, this is my first immersive device. I currently have the aforementioned headphones, my Shield Pro, Panasonic UHD player and my Sony region free player all connected via HDMI. The tricky part will be getting the headphones to work since I currently have that in the HDMI eARC port. It will be interesting to get it all working together.

For surround headphones you need JVC XP-EXT1 in order to truly experience 7.1.4 using a pair of headphones. I have it on my YouTube channel.

I used to avoid used until I risked it with The a wizard Of Oz 3D/standard Blu-Ray edition and it was immaculate with the wrap still on, perfect cover, spotless discs etc..

I have bought a dozen second hand discs since, no issue.

Been buying used of every format for years and have never had issues. I'm also not a stickler for cases or artwork, etc., so if it's missing I don't care. I love physical media deals...speaking of which...Gamer on 4K disc is released next week and I just used my $12.50 Prime Day promotion on it. Paid like $7.36 for it. The Atmos should be insane!

Just did a roundabout purchase since I am not OCD about boxes/cases/slipboxes. I placed an order for the Star Trek 1-4 4K disc set for $39.99 ($44 and change with sales tax) and separately pre-ordered Star Trek V 4K disc and Star Trek VI 4K disc for $50.79 (with tax for both). I will basically save almost $50 doing it this way instead of ordering the Star Trek 1-6 set, which would have cost $138+ shipped. Now I can re-direct funds to the deluxe version of the first film.

I already have the first 4K boxed set so I will be going the same route you are. I already preordered the Director's Edition of the first film and V and VI. The mismatched packaging will bother my OCD some but oh well. I'm not rebuying what I already have.

Automaker BM is now offering the heated seats as a subscription service.

What people already had purchased and was built in is now $18/Month or $180/Year.

The only way this stops happening if if these companies see that people won't stand for it.

I have issues with subscriptions. I'm pro customer.
