Default Does PS3 work without the HD installed?
Not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question, but here's my issue:

I had my hard drive in my PS3 crash a few days ago. This isn't really a big deal to me as I was going to upgrade it to a larger one anyways. I have a little bit of time between now and when I get a new drive, so I am wondering if I can remove the drive and still play Blu-ray movies on the PS3? With the hard-drive installed it definitely won't boot up. I'd try this out myself but I'm not at home right now.
