I am in Illinois and it typically takes about 10 days for me to receive an order from Amazon.uk. I have never needed to return anything, but occasionally things will arrive in less than pristine condition. It's a long trip for a package to endure.

My favorite deleted scene is the one from Star Trek Into Darkness where Spock is in his quarters throwing up devil horns while listening to Slayer's Reign In Blood.

Voyage Home avoided "current" day music and recorded the I Hate You song for the specific scene. Except for TMP the TOS films were fairly low budget so I guess the producers went out of their way to make sure nobody had to pay royalties.

As far as the TNG films, actually I think First Contact was the only movie where they had contemporary music (for us) playing but even then the songs were nearly a century old from Cochrane's point of view.

If ordering this from Amazon UK you would be wise to stump up for the gift bag option at checkout.

Neither. But at least you can contact Amazon (via chat) when it arrives damaged so you can try to get it resolved. Good luck contacting Zavvi and trying to get them to comprehend the issue. I'll never buy from them again.

About a month once it's in stock. I've had it come as soon as 2 weeks - unexpected but a pleasant surprise. This is all pre-COVID mind you. I think the last thing I got was the Star Wars Skywalker Saga 4K set and I was sweating they wouldn't honor the preorder since the site had said no more shipping to the USA because of the pandemic.

Is this sleeve packaging? UK set is much cheaper, includes a BD of the Director's Cut (and also a BD of the theatrical, though I already own that), but if this is sleeves I may need to take advantage of an exchange which would then favor the US edition even if it is a $30 premium AND requires buying the DC BD on top of that...

Universal (handles the Paramount Stuff in Germany because there is no Paramount Home Entertainment any more in Germany) recently said to a News Site there will be no Special Longer Cut in Germany cause the german Audio is unavailable. Which is not correct anyway because there was a VHS Release of the TV Cut in the 90s which i have btw. Anway..not important here.

But its gets better:
The Spanish Back Cover has German Audio for the Special Longer Version. The UK Back Cover has only German Subtitles. But at least that would show that a release in SOME form will be happening in the big german set.
But Universal Germany says "No. it will not be available in our set"
And the funniest thing is: The German rating board has just rated the Special Longer Version
So at the moment its totally unclear what will be in the german box set.
Its a total mess! Nobody knows nothing basically. I guess we will find out when its out

The whole Marketing for this Star Trek Products is pretty horrible in my opinion. Total Clusterf....ck!
Its a joke that we have to get the infos about Specials from the german rating board....

And I (still) don't believe for a second that the German disc will be anything else, but the exact same branched disc. Sticking with the UK for now anyway, but might still change my mind and go for the German one.

The Spanish back cover even lists Alemán 2.0 audio for the TV cut now:

I love how they always manage to cause confusion.

[Show spoiler]The picture is new. As far as I can tell that is. By the time of your post it was only stated at amazon.es and I trust back covers over what amazon states. Not that I trust either (in general I mean).
EDIT: Just re-read your post and since you state back cover there already, I missed it being there already - I only saw it stated with the text before. And I actually only went back to amazon.es today, because amazon.fr has a Spanish back cover now.

I'm not seeing that at any rate. TV version is listed only on a branched 4K together with the TC.
