USA Moll Flanders (1996)

Sandpiper Pictures will be releasing the period drama Moll Flanders (1996), starring Robin Wright, and Morgan Freeman, on Blu-ray on December 13th.

Quote:
Writer-director-producer Pen Densham (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Zoo Gang) vividly brings the titular character from Daniel Defoe’s Moll Flanders to life with Robin Wright (The Princess Bride, Forrest Gump) starring as the spirited and headstrong Moll. Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption, Driving Miss Daisy) co-stars as Hibble, her friend and protector, and Stockard Channing (Six Degrees of Separation, TV’s The West Wing) is Moll’s unscrupulous and cunning employer, Mrs. Allworthy. Set in the early 18th century, this “remarkable motion picture” (Jeanne Wolf’s Hollywood) traces the adventures of the resourceful Moll as she resiliently navigates England’s oppressive class system, poverty, wealth and romance.
