Yeah after enjoying open world games with much better animations, I noticed that about Geralt too when going back to Witcher 3. His movements feel so stiff when compared to the way it feels controlling Aloy in Horizon or Jin Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima. Even with the next gen upgrade patch, I found myself struggling to go back to this game.

They could've went back in and fine tuned Geralt's run animation with the upgrade, agreed. They had full access to all the old coding and assets.
