OK,. and is it such an incredibly different viewing experience for you? Have you compared? Its a difference w/out a distinction.

Look, please hear my tone, its not angry.

I love SE's and D.C,'s (where the HELL is the Abyss?!), I hate studio meddling in general and there's mainly 1-2 movies where I don't think a D.C. is actually better (Donnie Darko, forget the other one).

For this one, is the main plot changed? Is it a different ending? Does it add additional depth and motivation to a character? I think its a no to all these.

Again, 1) we ARE getting the unrated (its in HD), its not a "we're not getting it at all!" situation which a boycott might be a warranted response for. It's been available for 15 years. If anything, the lack of a THEATRICAL would've been something to make a ruckus over! 2) I don't think those scenes warrant a completely 2nd disc or the extra budget for a seamless branch. I know a bit about video editing but not what goes into making a UHD disc that does that.

You guys are taking a stand that's going to cost Shout $$$ and it can mean less of these boutique releases in the future. I don't think this is the title to be making an example out of.

For anyone wondering:
