Unlike Urusei Yatsura, Saint Seiya movies are a terrible way to gauge interest in Saint Seiya. There's only one in the bunch that is universally considered good (Crimson Youth, which is considered top tier Saint Seiya) and most newcomers wouldn't know this. They'd begin with the first having no understanding of what makes Saint Seiya great and it wouldn't stick.

The first 41-episodes of Saint Seiya were on Netflix (English dubbed!) roughly six months before Discotek re-released the movies on Blu-ray. Let’s face it: there are more people willing to make excuses on why Saint Seiya failed in North America than there are new fans.

The live-action movie opening next weekend is also unlikely to change things either. The tracking just keeps getting worse with each updated forecast as we get closer to release, it's going to bomb incredibly hard, and will lose the weekend to The Book Club 2.

That's pretty much me also, Zeiram is really the only thing that catches my eye. I tried many times to get into Lum, but it just never hooked me.

i like the overall tone of the old yut series ( lum) but cant get in to the New series ...
