Mostly recently watched FUBAR and Citadel. Citadel was disappointing whereas I enjoyed FUBAR. Just started season 6 of Peaky Blinders.

Watched FUBAR, liked it.
Even though I saw it not that long ago, I've been revisiting a few favorite episodes of Orville.
Made it to season 5 of Psych then finally gave up. I found Shawn funny the first time around. Watching it this time I found no redeeming qualities other than he found answers when highly trained detectives would jump to a stupid conclusion every time.
We like that Property Brothers show where they help celebrities rehab a friend's place. Always nice to see a more casual side of people. Even though reality TV isn't real.

The Simpsons: Lisa Vs. Malibu Stacy (2/17/1994)

[Show spoiler]Like many Simpsons episodes, this one starts off in a much different direction than one may expect based on the title. After Grampa and Jasper get to meet Andy Griffith, then starring in Matlock, seeing the star look his age makes Grampa feel his own, so he decides to bequeath his family his possessions while he's still living and can watch them enjoy them. Most valuable is a box of 1919 silver dollars, which Homer takes to the mall. As they reach Kidstown USA, Grampa laments the poor workmanship of today's toys compared to his own increasingly distant childhood, while Lisa battles for dominance over other girls to get the newest Malibu Stacy doll. This one can actually speak!

When she hears her beloved doll speak for the first time and expects to hear her roar, she is horrified by the sexist statements she hears instead. She hurls it out the window in disgust and insists something must be done, while her other female friends don't see the doll as a bad influence, and neither does Marge as the rest of the family has grown exhausted of trying to save the world from itself lately. Nevertheless, Lisa persists and takes her case all the way to the factory tour. When the tour guide (Maggie Roswell, Midnight Madness) cannot answer her question about how the talking dolls turned out the way they did, she goes to Waylon Smithers, an avid collector of these dolls, to find their creator, Stacy Lovell (Kathleen Turner, The Doctors, Who Framed Roger Rabbit), and get her to intervene. He tells her she has been a recluse since the 1970s, but she manages to find her in a gated community. Regretful and bitter about being pushed out of her own company, she drowns her sorrows in alcohol as Lisa shows her what the dolls have to say. She convinces the real Stacy to collaborate with her on a more intelligent doll named Lisa Lionheart to inspire girls to be their best. When the Petrochem Petrochemical Company that makes Malibu Stacy gets wind of this new competitor, which gets a boost when Kent Brockman's daughter convinces him to talk about it on the evening news, they "reinvent" Malibu Stacy to head it off at the pass.

Meanwhile, a TV soda commercial inspires Grampa to act, look, and think young, so he does that by getting a job at Krusty Burger.

The same year as doing the voice of Stacy Lovell, Kathleen Turner starred in Serial Mom that same year. Its writer-director, John Waters, later guest-starred.

Two other Fox properties get plugs here: the movie Big is parodied when Homer shows his stuff on a floor piano. Its director, Penny Marshall, was a Simpsons guest star. The place where the toy store keeps its dolls is called Valley of the Dolls, like the 1967 film based on the Jacqueline Susann novel. Susann was played by Bette Midler, another former guest star, in the 2000 movie Isn't She Great. No, there is no punctuation in the title of the movie; that was just the end of the sentence.
