Default Just get speakers??? or do the whole thing??

I figure its time to upgrade my sound system.

I currently have a 4-5 year old Denon HTIB. 5.1 DTS/Digital. Very basic surround speakers and center channel. But, a very nice powered sub that just seems better than the rest of the speakers.

I never listen to music with this. Just my TV and games. My living room is limited to speaker placement so unless i move. 5.1 is all i'm gonna be doing. Is there any real reason to get another receiver.??? would it be better to dump the money into some really nice speakers?? My friend has this basic all in one JVC HTIB. and he spent good money on speakers and it sounds bad ass.!! Here is what i was looking at.

One of these 2.

Energy Take

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_732TAKE...-0.html?tp=184 (without the sub. since i already have a good powered one)

^ ^ these are pretty low priced.. but, get good reviews everywhere i've seen so far.

So i'm looking at about $600 tops for speakers. And if i go with one of the Energy speaker sets i could do a Receiver too. I've been looking at some Onkyo ones that seem good.

Any opinions.? or suggestions. I haven't done anything with my surround sound for years like i said.. so its like starting all over. i do have a budget. But, i wanna do it right. Since i've gonna have it for a good 4-5 years again.
