Caps-A-Holic / IMDB

...

I was recently perusing the site and came across this release only to find there was no forum entry for it. So thought I'd add one.

I recall catching this on BBC HD around 2010 and found it to wonderfully capture that easy-going 90's thriller feel that I often find so nostalgic.

It may not be the most exceptional of flicks, but it's a tight, engaging thriller with an exceptional cast. Though it unfortunately seems to be one of the Clint Eastwood-directed pictures that rarely gets any attention.

From a visual perspective, I also recall the wider shots of the bedroom with the strong anamorphic artifacts/aberrations further stoking my love of that look.

I've since gotten hold of the old VC-1 Blu-ray which while a little long in the tooth, remains surprisingly solid and still captures that richly filmic, anamorphic and photochemical look in many areas.

...

It would of course be lovely to get a 4K release, but given that many of 'Eastwoods more popular WB pictures remain absent, I doubt this'll be getting that sort of attention anytime soon. Either way, thought I'd throw a curve ball and share some 4K mockups in the meantime to get us started (one can always dream):

...

Anyone else got any thoughts to share on this one?
