Default Analogue 3D - N64 FPGA

Analogue announced their upcoming system to play N64 cartridges; no word on if the Expansion Pak is supported or built-in, or if 64DD is supported.

Quote:
A reimagining of the N64.
4K resolution.
Original Display Modes.
Reference quality recreations of specific model CRT’s and PVM’s.
The first and only aftermarket solution supporting 100% compatibility in every region. USA, EU & JP.
Coming in 2024.
No price or pre-order info available, just the nebulous “coming in 2024.” There is a notification option at the official site linked below.

Like other products from Analogue, this is engineered via an FPGA and does not use emulation of any kind, and they specify the hardware does not play ROMs. Their other products do tend to work with EverDrive and similar devices though, which is only to save wear and tear on your actual media and totally not so you can download as many ROMs as you can find and play on real/clone/FPGA hardware…
