Too early for me to be listening to Christmas songs (and when they start playing them on the radio station closer to the Christmas and New Year holidays, I hope they play some of the less-played ones (over the years I haven't heard I Believe in Father Christmas by Greg Lake and 2000 Miles by The Pretenders as much).

But I'm putting together in my mind a short list of some of the Christmas-set films I hope to watch over the holidays (the Silent Night, Deadly Night films are on my watch list).

I bought a new bed and it was delivered yesterday. My old one had the box springs broken and the mattress was really worn out. I would climb in it and this would happen.

[Show spoiler]

No it wasn't an air mattress either.

I climbed in my new one and the difference is amazing. I slept really good yesterday.

I usually do cold meat or tuna salad for lunch at work. Done frozen burritos. Done eggs. Franks and beans. PB&J. Left overs from dinner. I am burned out on all that. I need something different that is quick and easy to make. Out of ideas.

Maybe summer sausage and sharp cheddar cheese? I do that for a snack at home.

Just watched Expendables 4 and Andy Garcia looked like he just got out of bed lol. Tom Cruise kinda looked similar in M:I 7, which I just revisited. They still look good for men in their 60's but for how long? Stallone looked like he's pushing 90

Who are they going to get to fill the has-been roles if they make more of these? I think they've already run through the roster of big former 80's stars. I'm not interested in seeing rappers or former wrestlers in these movies - I need actual movie has-beens

I counted at least 8 films that we both have including Rocknrolla

I've liked him for awhile but after finishing Brotherhood of the Wolf this morning, I need to add more Vincent Cassel films to my collection.

20 here, from that above photo, including LOTR Extended Edition trilogy, Get the Gringo and RocknRolla.

You need to watch him in Mesrine. And I still need to watch that off-roading vid you linked me to!

I think you added the clips when you edited your post LOTR? I hadn't noticed them when I first read your post. Thanks. I have three of the films shown but have yet to watch La Haine. I've actually had it for several years. I don't own The Apartment. I do own The Spanish Apartment though I do have a film of his called The Partisan on my BR wishlist.

I do have both parts of Mesrine and I believe I've watched both. As for the video, you should I started watching one a few nights ago where these Aussies shipped over their vehicles to go wheeling in the US. This particular video was on the Rubicon Trail which, admittedly, I didn't know was in California. That video was over an hour and I might have gotten halfway through it. I'm not sure.
I'll post the video although I don't expect you to watch the whole thing. There will be a quiz though so keep that in mind It got me thinking, would I rather have a badass SxS or a badass buggy like they show in some of these wheelin videos. I think I'd still go with a SxS first but luckily I can afford neither, so I'm not burdened with such difficult decisions

I quit soda a couple of years ago so I hadn’t noticed that Pepsi has changed their logo again. Do they think a design change will reel more people in?

To be honest though we have both types of employees here at my work and it is not even debatable but the stuff health nuts or worse vegetarians eat is just disgusting smelling most times. I have a coworker who loves Broccoli which imo is the most disgusting smelling food one could want to ever eat imo. To the people who are immune to it, Broccoli smells like a musty fart from a dirty a@@ imo! I curse at him everytime he brings some in for lunch lol...

I recently found out that the Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenues have two standard soles: the Danite rubber, which is orthopedically friendly with traction, and the slippery leather, which are not orthopedically friendly. But the shoes with the Danite rubber soles retail for $30 more, due to greater difficulty manufacturing and recrafting.

And the Danite rubber soles are matte finish black only on the Fifth Avenue. On the Park Avenue with Danite rubber soles, matte finish black is standard and several other colors (all burnished) can be ordered for $40 extra.
